Dr Syed Sadam Zafar is a Consultant Geriatrician with 13 years’ experience in hospital medicine. He has CCT/Board Certification in General Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Stroke Medicine.
Dr Zafar completed specialist training in the UK in Geriatric Medicine and General (Internal) Medicine. He has also completed a Fellowship in Stroke Medicine. Prior to joining Amana Healthcare, he worked as Consultant Physician in Stroke Medicine at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals, in the UK.
In his current role at Amana Healthcare, Dr Zafar, who is fluent in English, Urdu and Pashto, handles the clinical management of elderly patients, providing comprehensive assessment, optimizing treatment and helping them in maintaining their independence.
