As the regional healthcare partner of Manchester City Football Club, Healthpoint has announced the launch of a mascot competition on its social media platforms via Instagram and Twitter. On December 14th 2016, a UAE resident aged between 5-12 years, will win the ultimate prize of accompanying the team onto the pitch for their Premier League encounter with Watford Football Club at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester, UK.
Healthpoint’s social media competition encourages parents to post a photo or a 30-second video of their child showing their support for Manchester City Football Club, on Instagram and Twitter. The 30-second video could be their child analyzing the game, expressing how much s/he loves the club, or even imitating their favorite Manchester City FC star scoring a goal or celebrating. For submissions to be considered, all posts must mention @HealthpointUAE and the hashtag #HealthpointMCFC.
Dr Nader Darwich, Medical Director, Healthpoint said: “Children often discover a passion towards a particular sport and many of the children in the UAE happen to love football. As one of the leading centers for sports-related injuries, prevention and rehabilitation in the Middle East, Healthpoint’s continued relationship with Manchester City Football Club as regional healthcare partner affords us the perfect opportunity to encourage children to develop an interest in football. We want to enhance that passion by giving a child the chance to win the trip of his/her lifetime to be a mascot at the English Premier League game.”
Successful submissions will be shown on Healthpoint’s website under a page called: Social Media Competitions>Show Your Blue Spirit>Submissions.
The competition closes on 21st November and the winner will be announced on 23rd November at 3 PM (UAE time) on Facebook live. The winner gets an all-expenses-paid trip to Manchester, UK along with his/her parent or guardian; the chance to meet his Manchester City FC heroes on the pitch; plus the opportunity to visit their changing room and savor the match day atmosphere seen by millions around the globe.
