Dr. Abbas has over 30 years’ experience in dentistry in the UAE. A frequent speaker at conferences and community-focused workshops, she is conducting ongoing research on Vitamin D deficiency and dental issues in Emirati children under the age of three. Dr. Abbas is a long standing volunteer at Operation Smile, a charity that provides free surgeries for children with cleft lips and palates around the world, and also volunteers with Special Olympics, Sports for people with intellectual disabilities.
