Dr. Lebl, an accomplished orthopedic surgeon, earned his MD from Stanford University School of Medicine in 2005 and became a board-certified orthopedic surgeon in 2013. He completed his residency at Harvard, including pediatric training at Boston Children’s Hospital and adult surgical training at Massachusetts General Hospital. With over 18 years of experience, he joins us from the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York, where he’s an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, Director of Research for HSS Spine, and holds various other positions.
Dr. Lebl’s practice involves newer and minimally invasive surgical techniques including robotics, computer-guided navigation, microsurgery and motion preservation. He holds patents for several state-of-the-art spine surgery techniques in the United States and Europe.
After completing his formal education, Dr. Lebl underwent specialized training in various international hospitals. He is a prolific author with publications on spinal surgery complications, cervical spine disorders, minimally invasive techniques and motion-preserving spine procedures. Dr. Lebl has also contributed to medical missions in West Africa.
With extensive global experience and research in spine surgery, he has treated diverse patients, including elite athletes, musicians, actors, public figures, fellow physicians and high-performance individuals. Dr. Lebl’s approach emphasizes treating patients like family.
Dr. Lebl brings a wealth of expertise to the field of orthopedic surgery, with a focus on a wide range of spinal conditions and disorders. His specializations include cervical spine ailments, from cervical radiculopathy to rheumatoid cervical spine issues. Dr. Lebl is also a renowned expert in the management of spinal deformities such as scoliosis, kyphosis and spondylolisthesis. Dr. Lebl is dedicated to helping patients of all ages, offering specialized care for pediatric spinal disorders and adolescent idiopathic scoliosis.
Dr. Lebl is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Association and a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
