Dr. Naseem joined Healthpoint in 2022 as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon. He obtained his Master of Research (MRes) (Distinction) from the University of Manchester, UK, in 2006 and his MBChB from the University of Manchester in 2007. He holds a Diploma in Sport and Exercise Medicine (Dip Sports Med) from the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK.
Dr. Naseem worked as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at Manchester Royal Infirmary (Manchester University, National Health Service Foundation Trust) from October 2019 until August 2022. He completed various post-CCT fellowships before starting work as a consultant.
Dr. Naseem’s sub-specialist area of interest is foot and ankle surgery. He is experienced in sports medicine and is trained in limb reconstruction techniques including limb lengthening and deformity correction. He is also qualified to manage complex trauma and general orthopedic trauma.
Dr. Naseem was awarded the FRCS (Tr&Orth) and the certificate of completion of training (CCT), with entry onto the GMC Specialist Register. In his role as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at one of the UK’s university teaching hospitals, he regularly supervised and trained medical students, junior doctors and surgeons in training. He was the Project Lead of the Manchester Orthopedic Trauma Symposium and the Foot and Ankle MDT Lead at Manchester Royal Infirmary. With Surgical Review Corporation (SRC) accreditation, Dr. Naseem stands as a recognized expert in minimally invasive orthopedic surgeries, ensuring patients receive top-notch care.
He is a British Boxing Board of Control (BBBC) medical officer with 12 years’ experience as a ringside physician for professional matches. Dr. Naseem also has 11 years’ experience as a ringside physician for mixed martial arts professional competitions. He was also the ringside doctor for boxing competitions at the 2012 London Olympics and has provided medical cover for the London Marathon.
