Dr. Sachin Shah, a seasoned dental professional, joined Healthpoint in 2023, adding to the practice over 20 years of clinical dentistry experience and 11 years specializing in Prosthodontics. His journey began at Kings College London, University of London, where he earned his Dental Surgery (BDS) degree in 2006.
Prior to joining Healthpoint, Dr. Shah served as a Specialist in Prosthodontics at Perlan Specialist Dental Centre (Part of Bupa), U.K. Simultaneously, he contributed to the field through his private general practice as an Associate Specialist in Prosthodontics. Dr. Shah's dedication extended to academia, as he collaborated with UCL at the Eastman Dental Hospital, acting as a lecturer and mentor to aspiring prosthodontists.
Driven by a passion for both clinical practice and knowledge dissemination, Dr. Shah actively participated in international courses to enhance his skill set, particularly in managing complex multidisciplinary cases.
Dr. Shah's specialties encompass aesthetic reconstructions, full mouth rehabilitation, and complex surgical implant reconstructions, including hard and soft tissue reconstruction, along with biomimetic restoration.
In 2011, Dr. Shah attained membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. Building on these foundations, he pursued advanced education, achieving a Master of Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics with Distinction from University College London (UCL) in 2016. Dr. Shah's outstanding performance during training earned him the UCL Dental School Commemorative Prize for Clinical and Academic Excellence in Prosthodontics, and he was recognized on the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Postgraduate Dean’s List.
Subsequently, in 2016, he earned Membership in Restorative Dentistry (MRD) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Confirming his status as a specialist in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, Dr. Shah obtained the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in Prosthodontics from the General Dental Council, UK, in 2017.
